Our Story:
Lonehill Little Learners is headed up by Priscilla Davidson and her daughter Juliet Crole.
Why do we do what we do?
Pre-World Pandemic, that question would have received an automatic answer as we lived in such predictable worlds. However, lock downs, financial crashes and social isolation suddenly consumed life as we had come to know it, and now nothing seems the same. Change became our constant companion. Lonehill Little Learners was not immune, BUT in the wake of this wave our staff have emerged stronger, more creative, more inspired and more determined than ever that “we do what we do” because in this season, the rock-solid foundation for future learning should be every child’s right.
We are celebrating our 11th year of cutting-edge early childhood learning, under the umbrella of NURTURE FIRST. No matter how state of the art the equipment and curriculum may be, it is ONLY when a child feels happy and emotionally secure that they are able to learn.
Our years of experience in a variety of education systems, across all age groups, has left us with a passion to lay the very best foundation for future learning and to equip children with the skills needed for a lifetime of success. For example, helping children to understand how to challenge their brains and know how to turn a mistake into a valuable learning experience.
We want children who are risk takers and out the box thinkers. Sounds easy but the environment in which to achieve these goals needs to be very specifically prepared.

We run a stimulating integrated, differentiated pre-primary program with a full academic curriculum that promotes Early Childhood Learning.
Every successful child needs a fully functioning support system. Therefore, our vision is to reach beyond the development of the child and support the family unit. We do not have general open days, preferring to meet parents on a one to one basis. Priscilla is available to meet parents daily and we recommend you plan to arrive as close to 08h30 as possible. However, we totally understand that this is not always possible for parents, so in these situations Priscilla is happy to make a time that best suits your schedule. |

Our hours are as follows: Half Day 07h00 – 14h00 3/4 Day 07h00 - 16h00 Full Day 07h00 – 17h30 Casual aftercare is available to half-day children from 14h00 to 17h30 A cooked lunch is served daily. The school closes for approximately twenty days over the December/January period, mid-term breaks and public holidays. Holiday Club is available for part of the April and August school holidays. |
